Matthew Levi Morris is the founder and principal attorney of The Morris Law Practice, Inc., a California law firm with an active General Civil Practice before the courts of Belize. Born in Belize and based in Woodland Hills, California, Attorney Morris brings a personal and professional connection to both jurisdictions that few practitioners can claim — his California practice in Family Law, Entertainment Law, and Business Law is grounded in the same discipline and tenacity that defined his path from athlete to attorney.
Admitted to the California Bar in 2014, Attorney Morris earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside. Before law school, he was a standout multi-sport athlete — competing in Track and Field and Football in high school, and going on to play Junior College Football at College of the Canyons, a program that claimed a National Championship in 2004.
His Belizean roots are not incidental to his practice — they are the foundation of it. Attorney Morris is formally admitted to the Belizean Bar, has appeared before the Belize Supreme Court, argued before the Caribbean Court of Justice, and serves as a legal advisor to the Consulate of Belize. He is also the founder of Karish Law Firm, PC, a separately marketed California practice operating under its own brand.

Attorney Morris's admission to the Belizean Bar followed the formal qualification process required of all attorneys practicing before the Belize Supreme Court. His subsequent appearance before the Caribbean Court of Justice — the final appellate court for the Caribbean Community — places him among a small and distinguished group of U.S.-based attorneys with active standing at that level of Caribbean jurisprudence.
